Fine caldera views, unique architectural design, beautifully maintained environments
Numerous stairs to access the hotel!!! It certainly made the arrival and departure a bit of a workout!!! Inconsistent jacuzzi temperature was a letdown, not quite delivering the luxury experience expected!!!

Perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape
The private jacuzzi was a lifesaver after a long day of exploring, we watched the sunset while sipping on wine, can't beat that feeling.
It wasn't cheap but for what we got it was still acceptable.

The view is amazing...the staff were wonderful...the room was perfect...the location was ideal. I had read people complaining about the room being dark - but I would think that fair of something built in typical santorini style, ie. Carved out of the side of a cliff... The walk up the stone stairs can be steep but I think it's required given the copious amounts of Greek food consumed! I can't stress enough how impressed with the staff we were. Every request was answered with a smile, and of the services they did offer, they completed them well. As I've already said - location was marvelous. Do yourselves a favor and definitely stay here!
The Internet is only available in an outdoor area near reception. Given the amount each person is paying per night we don't think it we be unreasonable to install wifi on the room balconies. Unfortunately, breakfast was terrible. We understand that this hotel only has 9 rooms or so, but using the bellboy as the breakfast boy was a bad idea as it often meant there was no food out while he was tending to someone's bags. Even when there was food out there was no choice. We've stayed in hostels that had better breakfast than this. On one occasion we chose not to swim in the pool as it was so dirty. Maybe better maintenance of this amenity could also be looked at. However, the view is so spectacular that we didn't mind laying on the deck soaking up the sun.

The name of the hotel is "Athina Repose Suites" - a very appropriate name, because "repose", is what best we can do there. Extremely relaxing, peaceful

the steep stairs from the main road were a challenge. but the outdoor hot tub was heavenly, breakfast served on our balcony was a delightful start to each day, and the breathtaking caldera view made everything worth it.

Very nice caldera views from our suite. Breakfast options were really tasty. Be ready for tons of stairs to get to the hotel. We enjoyed a cooking class that added fun to our stay.

The personal service was wonderful. The fellow that works there even carried one of our bags up all the stairs to the street level...unexpected assistance that was greatly appreciated, thank you :)) The view was to die for and the sunsets were amazing. We had a great balcony and could even use the wifi outside!!
One friendly suggestion - perhaps a longer shower curtain or higher shower surround to prevent water all over floor.

Wow, this was definitely one of the highlights to our 2 month honeymoon. Although took a bit of time to find, we managed to work out with reception to meet at a close by hotel and the bell boy helped us take our luggage to the Athina which is further down the caldera cliffside. We booked a studio room but were upgraded to the honeymoon suite and the room and it's view was spectacular. I nearly ran out of room on my camera from photographs! The delicious breakfast brought to your room every morning made us feel like royalty. The hotel staff were also so friendly and had all the best advice for our time in Santorini around hiring a car, where to eat and ferry's to the other islands. Will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Santorini.

Hotel with an amazing view on the caldera and the volcano. Hotel staff was courteous and pleasant. A small pool and mostly clean. the shower in the room was clean and pleasant.
Although we were told that we were upgrade to a larger room, the room was small and crowded, except for us, there were 3 constant flies’ gests in the room (maybe they like the smells). The couch was a foul and un pleasant smell of an moid, musty and the bed in an attic is very dense and cannot stand straight because the ceiling is low, the TV did not work, there was noise in the rooms next to or close streets. To sum up - the room feels claustrophobic and not pleasant stay at all. Breakfast was minimal, but the view while eating was gorgeous.
